Classic Rafting takes you through one of the most beautiful sections of the Soča River, surrounded by the mountains and untouched nature of the Soča Valley. Along the way, it is not just about paddling. Depending on the conditions, there is time for swimming, jumping from rocks and a few fun surprises on the river.

Meet us in Kobarid
Meet us at our adventure center in the heart of Kobarid, where your rafting adventure begins.
Gear up
We prepare all the equipment for your adventure and take care of the paperwork and river permits.
Drive to the river
A scenic 20-minute van ride takes us to the starting point in Srpenica.
Get ready & Safety briefing
While you change into your rafting gear, we prepare the boat. Once everyone is ready, your guide explains everything you need to know before entering the river.
Raft the Soča River
Enjoy around 1.5 hours of rafting on the beautiful Soča River.
Finish the adventure
We finish our rafting trip in Trnovo ob Soči. After carrying the boat to the parking area, you can change back into your clothes.
Back to Kobarid
We drive you back to our adventure center in Kobarid.

Questions before your adventure?
Everything you need to know before joining us on the classic rafting section on the Soča River.
What if I have never rafted before?
No problem. No previous rafting experience is needed. Your guide will explain everything before entering the river.
How long does the whole rafting trip take?
Plan around 3 hours for the whole experience, including preparation, transport, safety briefing and approximately 1.5 hours on the Soča River.
Is rafting scary?
Classic Rafting is exciting, but not extreme. It is beginner-friendly and your guide will adapt the trip to the group and river conditions.
Can our group stay together?
Yes. We keep our groups small and whenever possible your group will stay together throughout the experience.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Rafting runs in most weather conditions, including rain. If conditions are not safe, we will contact you and arrange the best alternative.
Where does the trip start?
The adventure starts at our Soča Pulse Adventure Center in the center of Kobarid. From there, we prepare the equipment and drive together to the river.
Can I bring my phone or camera?
We recommend leaving your phone and valuables at our adventure center. We take photos and videos during the trip, so you can simply enjoy the adventure. But if you have a GoPro camera, you can attach it to our helmets, which have GoPro mounts on top.
How do I receive the photos after the trip?
We send you the photos and videos digitally after the trip, free of charge.
