How it works

Meet us in Kobarid
Meet us at our adventure center in the heart of Kobarid, where your canyoning adventure begins.
Gear up
We prepare all the equipment for your adventure and take care of the necessary paperwork.
Drive to the canyon
A scenic 20-minute van ride takes us to the starting point in Srpenica.
30-minute hike to the top
Once we park the van, we grab our equipment, carry it on our backs and start the hike up to the canyon.
Get ready & safety briefing
Once we reach the top, we take a short break, drink some water and put on our gear. After your guide checks all the equipment, we get into the water for a safety briefing.
Canyoning
After the safety briefing, the fun officially begins. We slide, jump and rappel our way down the canyon.
Finish the adventure
We finish at the same spot where we started our hike. We take off our equipment and change back into our dry clothes.
Back to Kobarid
We drive you back to our adventure center in Kobarid.

Do I need previous canyoning experience?
No. Canyoning Sušec is suitable for beginners and no previous canyoning experience is required. Your guide will explain everything you need to know before entering the canyon.
Is Canyoning Sušec suitable for children?
Yes. Sušec is a beginner-friendly canyon and can be a great adventure for active families. Children should be comfortable in the water and ready for an active outdoor experience. The minimum age is 6 years.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes. Basic swimming skills are required. You don't need to be a strong swimmer, but you should feel comfortable in the water.
Are the jumps mandatory?
No. Nothing is mandatory. Where possible, jumps can be avoided or replaced with an easier alternative. Your guide will adapt the adventure to the group.
What should I bring?
Bring a swimsuit, towel and dry clothes for after the activity. We provide all the technical canyoning equipment you need.
What equipment is included?
We provide a wetsuit with hood, helmet, canyoning shoes, neoprene socks, harness and all necessary technical equipment.
How long does Canyoning Sušec take?
The complete adventure takes approximately 3–3.5 hours, including transport from Kobarid, the hike to the canyon, preparation, safety briefing and the canyoning itself.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We check the weather and canyon conditions every day. Canyoning can still take place in some weather conditions, but if we decide that conditions are not safe, we will not enter the canyon.
Are photos and videos included?
Yes. Your guide takes photos and videos during the adventure whenever possible, and they are included in the price.
